| Posted By: ProudTxFemme Posted On: Aug 6, 2002 Views: 339 | It's all about trust Although tempting to have the "power" that knowing every thought could give me, it would also remove something from my partner .....her privacy to her own individual thoughts that comprise the woman I love. The "younger me" would have jumped at the chance without realizing that one of the true powers in this life is to find that trusting love that most desire and few find......wanting to know her thoughts would, at the very least, alter our level of trust. I would not want to remove that thrill she gives me when she spontaneously kisses me by knowing before hand or ruin her plans when she looks at me is thinking about how she wants to surprise me with something - Just as I would not want her to know my thoughts on that level - Nor would I want to know when her fears or worries unless she shares it with me purposefully - for that would distract from her strength to be herself. I think it would just be a violation of her trust and my trust for her and I find such joy in knowing that I can finally trust someone to tell me her thoughts when I need to know them......... |
