MLB and MLBPA took the first step to repairing the system, but it's not a cure-all by any means. We'll have to see how things pan out in the next four years. I am no longer a fan, rather a guarded observer of the game. Let's see if real competitive balance is achieved and rampant salaries are curbed... |

Do you really think the players will want to give up anything in 4 years that they didn't fight for this time? Do you really think the players will say, "ok, you win"???? "We won't strike"? Then your brain went on strike... All I know is that MLB will have another strike threat in 4 years because the owners will see that they are losing more money to these morons. Then baseball will collapse. Oh happy days will be here again. Hopefully next time baseball will have a strike again. I enjoyed the strike of 1994. I didn't have to watch cry babies playing a game. I was really hoping they would go on strike this time, but oh well... I'm just happy the NFL has started up again. Yea!!!!! |
