If this football program is to be anything in the next four years they could at least give some coach the time of day that bring this team around tomorrow. I know the old buddy system carries weight,but when you have not produced there is no other way to improve but to come clean with these problems that are very noticed in the sports world. |

The Knoxville News Sentiel sports writer reported the John Gruden story before Gruden got the job at Tampa. Gruden call Dickey every week for sometime. Gruden did some of his internship at UT. Pat Summitt would make a good AD for disipline in all the sports programs. Steve will not be in Profesional football very long because he likes to be a winner. |

CONTRACT EXTENSION, I.E. GETTING THE JOB TO BEGIN WITH. BY THE WAY, I THOUGHT DOUG DICKEY WAS SET TO RETIRE LIKE, A YEAR AGO??? LOOK FOR TICKET PRICES TO GO UP TO $50 THE YEAR AFTER NEXT, SINCE EXTENDING THE CONTRACT MAKES AN EXTRA $ 1.65 MILLION THEY'LL HAVE TO FIND SOMEWHERE ONCE THEY BUY OUT FULMER'S CONTRACT AFTER HE GETS RUN OFF NEXT SEASON AFTER, AT BEST, A 6-6 SEASON. |
