Depends on yonder system yo

Well, palette swaps aern't too bad in SNES- (anything SNES and/or before), when there isn't much menory on the cartriges, but PS+ it's simply inexcusable, UNLESS, through some plotty uselessness, the palette swapped monsters are of the same species or something (eg. different types of bees [fighter, worker]), but it's still pretty sad nonetheless yo.

I, for one, think that for the SNES, pallete swaps were indeed a very cool and innovative feature. If I remember correctly, Seiken Densetsu 3 made an amazingly excellent use of palette swaps.
^My weakling two cents.
