However, this is up to the buyer, and I think it's a great idea. The design is a bit inconvenient, perhaps you could make a pouch as Oakley or Spy does, or a case as Rayban does? |

Only the NOT STICKY PART would come in contact with your "expensive" sunglasses. Trust me I deal with duct tape all the time. People come up to me begging to look inside my purse because they want to see why my stuff doesn't stick to the duct tape. |

Yes the sticky side of the duct tape is "abrasive" but why would anyone suggest that you put any sunglasses (much less your precious little oaklys) in a sunglasses case in wich the "abrasive" side would come in contact with the sunglasses? They wouldn't. It just doesn't make sense once you think about it. |

The only thing you have to make sure of is that no little sliver of the sticky-side is uncovered. I have been dealing with duct tape for a while now, and I only seem to have that problem with the red duct tape. Otherwise, it is no problem, and if someone was really that anal about their oaklys they wouldn't put them in a duct tape case. I on the other hand shop at wal-mart. Everything I own is duct tape worthy! |
