more stuff

I think you should make shorts...you should make hats also orange and orange vests for hunters..you could also make a gun strap and case, like the guitar strap

RE: more stuff

Well shorts would get REALLY sticky (see my reply on "Duct Tape Clothing") but the hunters stuff is a good idea.

P.S. Bear meat stew is REALLY good, talking abut hunting

Well, actually, If you made, say, a skirt, It would be alot easier to sell and make a profit. Plus you wouldn't have to figure out how to size the shorts (Ugh!). I recommend including a belt, though, and short skirts are easier to wear (and to sit down in!) Although, I might add that the wearer may have to unstick herself a couple of times after long periods of sitting, but not because of the adhesive (its like sitting in shorts on a warm plastic chair, you're gonna stick)Although perhaps if you added a liner....

Well, thats what I mean, it would get sticky because you're sitting on rubber.

Duct tape shorts? are you kidding me? It defeats the point of shorts: cool and comfortable. If you're getting into clothing why not try dresses or tuxedos. I just made a dress for my hallowe'en costume. (the duct tape princess) The "wow" factor was incredible and it was loads of fun to make. I can see duct tape dresses getting popular...maybe...and they're not as uncomfortable as you might think.

I was thinking that with duct tapes durability (sorry i can't spell that well) if it would be possible to make a laptop carrying case. With it also being waterproof, where it would be closed, it could be really useful. With black Duct tape it can even look PROFESSIONAL. What about a duct tape trench coat is that do able or not?

ohh, a trenchcoat! Oh man, I want one! That would probably use up alot of duck tape, but it would SO be worth it!! I'd buy one! And the laptop carrying case would be a good idea if you lined the inside with something, since noone wants sticky on their laptop. I'd reinforce the handles, too.

RE: more stuff

Two problems with the laptop carrying case would be that it would sag a little bit, plus it isn't very easy to make the corner of a box with duct tape, so it'd have to be rounded at the corners, which would make it look unprofessional. But, to kill two birds with one stone, if you used something to reinforce it, it's very do-able. My problem with it would be that I don't like to make something of duct tape that has a major part of it not duct tape. The trench coat would look really good, I have to say...I could see that in a movie some day.

Yes. duct tape trench coat. i can see it now. yes, yes and yes. you are my hero. the only problem with duct tabe clothing...and anything that has to bend, is that often where the duct tape gets the most wear it creases and begins to tear. although a duct tape laptop case would be awesome. it may not be that safe. reinforcing it would work well, but then you're geting away from the total duct tape product. tough call.

RE: more stuff

Yeah. I seriously love that idea for the trenchcoat! I think that if you reinforce the laptop case it would be cool but you'd have to put in a lining because adhesive would get on the computer.

RE: more stuff

but but but....when you make sumthing out of duct tape of course you put sumthing on the inside...DUCT TAPE! thats the thing, it sticks to almost everything well, but it sticks best to itself. it may be more expensive than a lining, and it may ever so slightly uncomfortable when making clothes, but its not made out of duct tape unless the whole thing is duct tape..or at least the majority of the the thing. otherwise its just duct tape covered lining....yay trenchcoat

RE: more stuff

No, I mean for the laptop case you'd put a lining on the inside over the duct tape (the face down duct tape, when you make a sheet of duct tape you cover the stickiness...) Because adhesive always gets out between the strips no matter how well you did it.
