RE: OMG

Glad you like the site!

The votes that are cast for "worse than zero" are, almost without doubt, cast by those that believe the moon landings were fake. This is just their way of registering their displeasure!

I don't expect everyone to agree with my opinions, it would be a funny old world if they did, but if they really don't like my site (which is a different matter) why don't they say WHY they don't like it?

RE: OMG

Keith,

You are something else. I have never seen an ability like this. Your knowledge is only surpassed by your ignorance.

I am sure there are many sewage facilities who would marvel at your ability to compress so much ****e into such a small space.

Well done.

RE: OMG

Thank you John, nice of you to say so.
To get such an articulate, measured, well argued and well thought out message is rare these days.
Well done, it so well shows the level of your intelligence.
Thank you.

RE: OMG

I think this site is positively amazing. I makes no sense that someone would give this site anything less than a 4-or-5 star rating. I especially like your article on time...

OMG!
It is now 13 years, almost to the day, since that first post was made. A lot has happened since then. My then wife died of cancer the following year 2005, suddenly, overnight died in our bed, we didn't know she had anything worse than bad bachache. I met a wonderful lady a year later and we married in 2006. 18 months after that I was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in December 2008. I was given 6 months and not expect to walk again either. I do walk, even though it's only short distances, and I am obviously still alive! Thanks to advances in modern cancer treatment I have been told I have "A few more years" so I can't complain, after all I am 71 now. Have my views changed? No, I am still a confused agnostic. I am though more determined than ever to make the most of life, you never know when it may end.
I am delighted that in the period since making this site over 3,000 exoplanets have been discovered as this obviously increases the chances of there being other life in the universe. It is my belief that there are countless other inhabited planets many of which will contain not only life but intelligent life. I hope that when the day comes that we discover alien life, of any sort, that I will still be here to say I told you!
