This site is bias towards skepticism

All I have seen on this site is skepticism without any real research or logical thinking towards the latter side. Seriously, who is Keith Mayes? Is he in any qualified position to debunk many beliefs people have? I don't think so.

The point is, I don't think anybody should have their views affected largely by this site. While I like to remain open minded to everything, something in which Keith Mayes doesn't seem to like doing, it'd be hypocritical for me to suggest to discard this whole site. So, I say, look at this whole site. I'll give you Keith Maye's general thesis, and that is: "X sounds impractical, let's look at what modern science tells us, and after that, we'll talk about how there is no proof that I believe is true, therefore, it doesn't exist."

I don't know. It just seems really unprofessional to me.

RE: This site is bias towards skepticism

Would like to add, in fairness, that not all pages are what I imply to be "narrow-minded", just some.

Care to be more specific or is that asking too much?

RE: This site is bias towards skepticism

OK after reading that first post, I have to disagree completely with this guy. I think what he stated is completely unfair to Keith and simply in no way shape or form true. Now I don't agree with Keith on all the same issues on his site such as the UFO: Fact or Fiction, however his opinions on these subjects are NOT just some unthought simple minded opinions. After reading his site I have a GREAT respect for Keith and I beleive he deserves it. "mitizaa" clearly did not read his whole site because if he did, then he would not claim that all Keith's opinions were just "skepticism without any real research or logical thinking towards the latter side". Actually when I read that part of the sentence I laughed because it is the total oppostite. Each part (subject) of the site is well thought out, pondered upon and clearly put in words. It seems almost all of his opinions are based upon LOTS of research and it is seen throughtout the site. If you don't believe me then look and you'll see how big of a quack "mitizaa" really is. Disreguard everything he said. What most likely happened is that he posted something on the forum part of the site and became angry because his ideas or opinions were turned down due to his laughable ignorance.

Please take your time to read the site and base your own opinions before you prejudge Keith and his site because of an ignorant adolecent who puts down anything that doesn't agree with him.

RE: This site is bias towards skepticism

Well, Keith is a realist, and I don't mean to point this out, but if you truely believe we have been visited by "aliens" then you sir haven't been keeping up skeptical part of yourself. There is likely other organisms somewhere in the universe. But have they been reaching us? No. They still follow the same laws of physics ;)I always find it weird, how someone that has some sense in them, always leaves room for a small fantasy. You'll disregard esp, but heck aliens visiting us, OF COurse! Keep up the great work Keith.

RE: This site is bias towards skepticism

Hey hey hey now...are you saying that Einstein's theory of wormholes have already been proven wrong? I am not saying "yes, oh for sure we have been visited!", actually I am suggesting it as a possiblity. Please don't ASSume things. You will find it will make your life much more difficult. Thanks for your response anyhow.

RE: This site is bias towards skepticism

I have only read "where did the universe come from" so far, and I am looking forward to the rest of the site.

To the denigrators I cannot understand such rudeness. I'd just ask - is it not at least pleasing to find a site which understandably asks more questions than it answers, but at least tries to apply a framework for us to conduct further discussion ? The author quite openly asks for opinions - to mock without logical argument (Dr Dee) at best shows laziness, or immaturity, and at worst shows something to hide (like your own sense of failure to be able to articulate). If I'm wrong, please direct me to your opinions.

RE: This site is bias towards skepticism

I fail to see why you would think this site is bias in any way at all, Keith clearly makes a point of showing both sides to any argument brought up and goes further into the one with more evidence as you would expect. Stop trying to look for problems with the text which arn't there, and if you are going to try and turn people against this site (going by your other comments), then please at least make a good argument instead of one which is irelivant and untrue.
