In my email page I suggest that people that email me make sure they use a heading that does not look like spam. This is what I say: "RECOMMENDED SUBJECT HEADING: The topic under discussion. i.e. "Black Holes", "Time Travel", "Telekinesis", "Pyramids" etc.". I think that is clear enough, all they need say is the subject, such as "Black Holes" or maybe " "Time Travel", whatever the subject may be. What is so funny is the number of emails that gave that as the actual heading: "RECOMMENDED SUBJECT HEADING: The topic under discussion. i.e. "Black Holes", "Time Travel", "Telekinesis", "Pyramids" etc." Yes, the whole lot, word for word! It's no wonder it made me smile! I really thought I had made it crystal clear, obviously not! |
