Posted By: Dart Posted On: Nov 3, 2002 Views: 464 | Bosses I always likes the idea of the WEAPONS in the Final Fantasy series. Even though there was usually a trick to beating them eaisly, it is always a challenge to fight them with tactics you knew didn't work, just to see if they did. |

There has to be a line drawn on this issue between actual hard bosses and those who just take a long time to beat. For example: Golden Sun had no really hard bosses, not even hard optional ones. It did have medium-hard bosses that took a long time but those dont compare to truly hard bosses. |

Take my experience of the fight with the Earth Dragon from Saga Frontier for example: I had three swords people, a mech, and a monster. I didn't have Overdrive, DSC, nothing fancy like. I ended up down to my last AP, HP, everything, THEN I beat him. Now THATS my ideal boss. Other than that, I don't like the WEAPONS thingy where you have to either level up insanely, or just use a tatic that you know's going to work in the end. It's just too simple. *goes to play Saga Frontier* |
