On some stories you should be able to affect the story line to mold it to your personality (usually it's as simple as play the good guy or the bad guy.) When you should not be able to affect/change the story line is when the writers/makers/developers are trying to tell you something and you (as in your character [has]) have to make certain choices that you may not have otherwise have made. This gives you a new view on things you might not have known existed. |
