In my opinion, after 7 it kind of went down hill. 8 and 9 really didn't do it for me. FFX saved the series because of it's story. It was well done. XI is going to be a MMORPG and who knows what FFXII is going to bring. Square has no reason to stop the series. Not like some series' I know... |

Yeah, when 8 came out, I thought the series was on its last limb, but luckily IX came along to make up for VIII's shortcomings. X helped as well, but I don't think it was quite as good as IX. The series itself is fluctuating between good and not-so-good. Based on this trend, I think (and hope) that XI will be one of the best FFs. |
