Hourly Incentive Bonus

Does anyone have a successful incentive bonus for hourly employees. IF YES, how have you gotten around the California (YUK) requirement to add bonus amount to base hourly rate and recalculate all overtime for the year. Can it be done?

We have an incentive plan based on productivity and the rates are adjusted to calculate overtime

Our company has a program where they put a % of profits in a bonus pool and pay some employees a bonus out of that pool at managements discretion. No impact on FLSA o/t calculations.
