I dont think an online version of FinalFantasy should be worthy of the inheritance of the FF11 title. Realy, if Square is going to make an online FF they should call it FF-Online or FF-Universe or something... The game should not get a number... If anything FF Tactics was worthy of being a continuation in the FF series, not a freakin online RPG.(How can you possibly make decent a plot for an online RPG?) It would be great if FF11 was a self sustained game that also had an online feature, but I think square is makeing a big mistake by jumping into the online gameing market with an FF title.... In "my opinion" all the games in the Final Fantasy series fave been almost like interactive books, Sure the battle systems are great and the graphics always amazed us, but underneath all the sugar was a great book that made us happy, sad and angry, made us want to see the "good guys" win in the end(or see some of the charectors fall in love)... In my opinion FF7 (maybe ff8, despite alot of mistakes made by square), FF9 and possibly FF10 were the greatest and maybe the last of the true FF series.....sniff...sniff....Well they better at least come out with a FF7-2 :-) |
