What about other series?

Why should Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrrior be the only series that stand to benefit from this merger?

Why not the Chrono series? After all, Chrono Trigger was a product of the teams behind the two companies' flagship series teaming up. Surely this permanent joining would benefit the series.

Or Star Ocean? This is a series that has been long underrated, but with the addition of Square's resources, the Star Ocean series could become so much more, and carry more weight.

And what of SaGa and Seiken Densetsu? Or some of Enix's other series? I think that the less known series could very well benefit the most.

Anyone agree with me?

RE: What about other series?

I don't think any series will benefit, because I don't believe that the development teams for popular series of games will change at all. :P

RE: What about other series?

They really need a Soulblazer 4 or Terranigma 2. You all agree, right?

RE: What about other series?

Yes, another in the SoulBlazer Series would be good...or even GBA remakes of those first three games. After all, we never saw Terranigma (not officially, anyways). I myself have never played SoulBlazer, but Illusion of Gaia is one of my personal favorite games.

I think definitely the Chrono series could get some serious bolstering. Now that the two teams are together, they don't have to organize something....they can all coordinate their ideas together!

RE: What about other series?

They need to take Star Ocean: The Second Story's battle system and put it in the Final Fantasy's.
