We have seen its assistance during 1971 war. War against Russia, Afghanistan. The reward was paid to Pakistan as a front line state. We will remember it. Manuel Noreaga(sp) was about to tell the world about Bush Sr; so what did the US gov't do? Lock Noreaga up in jail in Miami!)? Bush and Baby Bush simply want Iraq's oil. They failed in making a deal with Iraq like the one FDR made with Saudi Arabia back in the 40s (it went something like, "We will ensure your throne against a coup from your citizens if you agree to not dominate the oil market.") They probably made a similar deal with Venezuela (a hotbed for drugs also). Bush Jr is a dopehead and an alcoholic. |

The real gain for the USA, and the whole world, is a more stable middle-east which leads to an improved trade (not just oil). I think the time has come for the world to become mature, and build a strong bond. With people like Saddam in power anywhere on earth will not be a good thing for world peace. Don't get me wrong though; Bush is a fool, but it's good that someone finally does something about the situation. What if WW2 would have been prevented? Actions like this one make it so. |
