The best players have the thousand dollar guns and can shoot faster than everyone else. That is all paintball is who can shoot faster than the other person. it also is very expensive 2000 paintballs for 50$ and you have to go get the air all the time. ive been playing pb for 6 yrs and i know airsoft is much better. Airsoft actually takes some thinking. The guns are even and its not a arms race. The games are much more military like, and the ammo is cheaper no more of that messy paint and having to go get air. In airsoft all you have to do is recharge your battery the guns are also more accurate and have better range. |

| Posted By: fry_ed Posted On: Apr 19, 2005 Views: 377 | RE: IM FIRST i disagree. first of all gas airsoft guns do use C02 for whoever said otherwise.... electric airsoft guns are fun for shooting around in your bedroom, but paintball is a much better sport for outdoors. you tell me whats more "realistic" - shooting real "looking" guns indoors and hearing clickity clickity click on your mask when you're hit, OR - being in the woods, sneaking around prone in the brush and blending in with your camoflauge...hearing the paintballs whiz over your head... main gripes with airsoft are 1) they shoot wherever the wind blows if you're outside... 2)it is based on honesty since they dont leave a paint mark on you.. and don't bring up paint bbs because those don't even work. the only thing it has going for it is that the guns look real enough that all you kids pretending to be badasses will get arrested. |

Geez just because u havent played HIGH QUALITY airsoft before doen't mean say airsoft sux and paintball owns. Ur saying " I played paintball with high quality Brass Eagle Blade pumps it paintball SUX!!! I used to own an autococker and i liked it alot,but i freakin spent more time lubricating my gun then playing it. Sure i did upgrades along the way, but it was just a pain! I own a Tokyo Marui Sig 552, and I love it. If u guys are ever going to get into airsoft save up for at least a Marui...u won't regret it. Both sports play differently, sure they both involve shooting, but they really play differently. I'm not going to say " Airsoft is way more tactical" because paintball DOES us tactics. Just try both and enjoy! I know why paintball is winning, BECAUSE IT'S SO MUCH MORE FREAKING POPULAR! Try High-end airsoft, u'll love it! |

Ok lemme clear this up: 1.Airsofting is played anywhere INCLUDING forests,backyard,house,warehouses,schools, you name it. 2.Airsoft is only based on honesty when ur playing 1 hit ko..most people like to play till you bleed (fun stuff). 3.Guns are more real period 4.Airsoft guns come in all shapes, sizes, velocities, and power. 5.PB guns have no skill when you are shooting since u pay like 1000's of dollars on your stupid looking gun and you have advantages out the ass. 6.Less expensive. 7.BBs can come in different sizes and materials (such as metal bbs and so on). 8.You can have automatic guns on the field instead of 1shot which really doesnt matter because u upgrade ur PB gun to shoot like 7per second... 9.More tactical, takes strategy 10. (Last but not least) You dont run the whole time your playing/spraying like pb you actually need to take aim... TyTy |

Alot of nerds and losers paintball because they want to be in a "legal" environment or some **** like that so yea guys try airsoft before you judge (high end) |

Paintball hurts alot more than any bb gun and whoever said they only got bruises must shoot like 100 psi i get welts and one time bled. Airsoft is dumb like some said its all about honesty and play till u bleed still honesty and seriously how long is it going to take to make some one bleed with a bb gun. Paintball guns are not that expensive i got a PB gun for 149 and i shoot more than 7 bps. BB guns are just plain out gay, ive played BB guns before and its boring yea its all tatic but its boring oo i got shot by this little frigen thing that didnt even hurt. PB is all about tatic to guess none of you guys never played woods ball before. Ok you can play BB guns ne were but PB guns you can play in warehouses to your backyard and woods. PB rules BB guns are fun for people who are to scared to get hit by a PB gun. And whoever said you gotta get all dressed up wtf i wear a t-shirt and one Jacket and jeans. |
