Personally, I can't wait until they get to Episode 5. Xenogears was Ep. V of the series, so I can't wait until they remake the awesome game to make it even better. Who's with me?

While I'm certainly interested to see how Ep. V turns out, I still feel as if Xenogears will hold the spot of the better game over a partial "retelling". Sentimentality, tis all.

That's a good point. I have had similar suspicions for a while now, but I'm still greatly anticipating the remake of sorts.

But will it get remade?

Remember, Xenogears was made for ANOTHER game company. I think the makers of XS will want to avoid a copyright conflict. Personally, I believe that while the Xenosaga series might reference Xenogears at some point (indirectly) they won't be directly remaking it.

We shall see.
