Already gave up TV

I have already given up TV because of the terrible programming that is on nowadays. I think that these new "reality" shows are anything but real. They are mean and stupid. I am quite surprised that so many people watch them. It just goes to show how degraded society has become that entertainment consists of watching people get humiliated, hurt, etc. It's just sad, both for the people who agree to participate, but mostly for those who choose to watch such shows, thus promoting their popularity. I will not watch them and haven't plugged in my TV in the 2 years since I last moved into my current home. Other than seeing some of the war on the news when I visit my mother, I don't watch TV, just surf the Net.

I still find a lot to watch on TV but I could never give up my Internet fix. Besides you can always turn your computer into a television with an add-on card!
