The rechargeable battery is ten times better than the headphone jack in terms of money (Every 3 or 4 dollars for batteries, and they run out like once a week for a dedicated player). Also the compact size is another issue that makes the new gameboy better than the other one. But are all those new features worth $150?

They are going to make accesories that we would consider normal, like the headphone jack, more expensive than they should be. Also, didn't Nintendo say that they where not going to release a new version of the GBA? I like Nintendo, but they are **ing me off with the crap they are pulling.

When they said they weren't bringing out a new GBA, they meant a more powerful one. Like how the Game Boy Pocket isn't a new Game Boy Original, it's just a (crappy) redo of the Game Boy Original.
