RE: All you enigma fans

Thanks to an online friend in the late 1990's who went by Princess Ariel (and I love you my friend), she finally put a name to this music that I always like the sound of, but did not know who the artist was.

Engima(Cretu) is my favourite music artist and his music touches the fringes of the soul, it is artwork that uses SOUND to reach us, the fans. I think Cretu's music ability is fabulous and if ever playing in Canada, I would love to attend the concert and thank Cretu for touching my life in a positive way through his music.

I like pretty well most of his songs, but my favourite album, is the Cross of Changes. Looking forward to seeing when E5 hits the stores shelves. Hoping it will be soon.

Thanks. Soctiaspirit in Canada.

RE: All you enigma fans

Like you, I am so glad I found Enigma and the creative genius of Michael Cretu. I have heard this music in my head since I was a kid but could never find it. I tried all kinds of artists that ever cut it creatively. Growing disaffected with music as the 1990s dawned, I was flicking the channels around and caught a video from a Canadian music station. It happened to be "Sadeness" from an album called "MCMXCaD." The blend of sensual rythyms and Gregorian Chant caught me immediately and stopped my in my tracks. This was the music I'd heard as a kid. This ENIGMA had reached inside my conscience and pulled out those strains of music and blended it together so seamlessly, I was without my breat. I went out and bought the tape immediately. I now have all of Michael Cretu's major ENIGMA releases: "MCMXCaD", "The Cross of Changes", "Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi", "The Screen Behind the Mirror", "LSD: The Remix Collection", "LSD: Love, Sensuality, Devotion" and the bonus disc which came with "MCMXCa," and am looking forward to the September release of "Voyageur." I base all my music purchases on the excellence of ENIGMA. My ear knows what it likes and the soul knows what it needs. Keep them coming Mr. Cretu.
