Posted By: Linda O'Brien Posted On: May 11, 2004 Views: 1032 | Casey Kasem Does anyone remember which pirate station Casey Kasem DJed for in the 80's? Was it Radio Nova? I used to listen to Nova, Q102 and Sunshine and I loved his American Countdown show (I think it was called) and he used to read letters from listeners dedicated a song to someone special. Believe it or not, he is still going strong. I came across him by accident, one Saturday morning here in Upstate NY DJing for a Westchester, New York radio station (Hudson Valley 103.9). He still sounds the same as ever! |

This show was huge all over the US. It had slots for local jingles and Casey recorded stuff for the Irish stations to promote the show. Hope this helps. |
