| Posted By: Mark Posted On: Jun 12, 2003 Views: 495 | I think this kid is cool and Reloaded was the best I think we all have a lot more of that youthful excitement about Star Wars and those light sabers than we'd care to admit. Who didn't fantasize about wielding a light saber? I'm more than a little disappointed in those who fixated on insulting this kid instead of admitting the great degree to which we all identify with him. That goes both for the comments being posted and the versions of Star_Wars_Kid, which strove to belittle him. I view this like the movie Galaxy Quest. Yes it was funny, but it appealed to that kid in you who first discovered the magic of science fiction and desperately wished it were real. Therefore, I think that Reloaded is my favorite of the versions of Star_Wars_Kid (despite the absence of a light saber) because it dropped him right into that dream we all wish we could step into even if only for a moment... and it did so without feeling the need to insult him for having the dream at all. |

I for one am glad he did, not only because it is hilarious but because I did the same stuff all the time with a wooden broom handle in my backyard. Just like SWK in my own mind I looked just as cool doing it as the people in the movies. It's not funny because the kid looks ridiculus but because I am totally in that place with him. I would like to see fans of SWK video themselves doing similar things and create movies of there own. We can all be the Star Wars Kid. I already am. |

Because he lives his dream? Because he enjoys playing? Do you really think, he would have passed his movie around? I don't think so. That was his private fun and some guys (probably twice his weight) are making fun of him over the internet. Why do you waste 2 hours of your life (with your IQ, it must take that time to write a single sentence) to post your comment on the internet (which you probably use 7 hours a day (= 3 sentences and 20 Kleenex) to download porn as you dont have a girlfriend... Sheesh. |

I see people making fun of the kid calling him fat and stuff... Did it ever acure to u guys to that maybe he never asked to be fat its a thing that can happen. Ever heard of hereitary (sorry if i can't spell the word) but also i mean he wanted to experament somthing and he did. I'm the same as the guy i like to experament new things and things i wish i could do. You gotta admit u ppl who are insulting him have dreams to where u wish you could hover things or even swing a stick around as if it were a sword or sumttin. hell id have to admit i still do that im not affraid to admit it. If your affraid to admit sumttin about your self that you kno about your self the your not comfertable about your self. I respect this guy for having fun while he's still young and not worring about people who think its fun to make fun of him, also respect to him that his a strong guy to deal with immature people like that who will make fun of him like that. I'll honestly say i laughed at it but who hasn't. I laugh at myself when i do stupid things. Its all fun and games but i bet the guy is a wicked guy if you got to know him. Take the chance once in a while some of you or one day it'll just bite you in the ass and u'll be the one in the ditch;) trust me on this. And to the star of the clip, you keep livin happy dude cuz u remind some of us that we all have a kid side to us. Latez |
