Opposing Jerseys at home

I think the people who wear the visitors gear at games are great fans. It takes balls to walk into an opposing teams house wearing the wrong colors. If you lose, you get ridiculed all of the way out of the arena and into the parking lot, and if you win you risk getting beaten by a mob. That's support.

I don't think it uncool for a visiting team's fans to come to a team's home venue wearing their colors and CHEARING for their team.

I do think, however, that it is really bad form and extremely obnoxious to come into to an area/stadium and bad mouth and cuss at the home team. Those people deserve to get their butts kicked.
