While I think No Doubt is a pretty decent band and GS is pretty hot, she does not yet deserve a place in the rock pantheon as do Souixie, Patti Smyth, Wendy O. Williams, Lita Ford and Christie Hynde (or even Kim Deal or Kim Gordon). |

On the other hand some of the other names you mentioned ARE in the running. How old do they really have to be to be one of the best rock chicks? I mean Wendy O., Lita Ford, Kim Deal or Kim Gordon (amoung a few others) are either past their big hay day or DEAD! Just because you don't like them doesn't mean my vote for Kim Gordon should count less or that you know what your talking about more than myself. |

BUT in defence of us 'older folk' (does 29 count as old?) Gwen has not reached rock legend status yet......
