Execution keeps society from crumbling

I'll tell you what. If they ever abolished the death penalty and one of my family members was murdered, I would seek out the murderer and take revenge for myself. No one's going to put the murderer of my family member in jail and give him the same type of punishment as someone who evades taxes. That's ridiculous. Air-conditioning, free meals, leisure time, etc. is not punishment, it's a holiday.

I don't know what is wrong with you but there is no way in this world i am going to go to hell for no one at all. God said thy shall not kill and that is what i believe in. So if the goverment kills it is just as wrong as you killing someone. If someone killed one of your family members you would be upset right. So if you turn around and kill them then thier family would be upset to. Why kill someone just to have more people upset and sad. If every one took revenge on people for doing something wrong to them or someone in their family we would have a war among our own country between our own people. God said revenge is not sweet and what goes around must come around. So maybe if god takes someone in your family away from you it would probably be a test and of course you would fail. Think about what you say before you say it or write it.

Murder is wrong. Killing someone else is wrong to. money wouldn't follow you into the grave, but in the sence of reality I would much rather see that one hundred million go into bible camps, saving the earth, or whatever. I realize that trail for death row is expensive too, but if prisoners wouldn't have a better life style than my own, maybe I would feel a little different. To me, prision is not a punishment!

"The murderer has killed. Killing is wrong and that is why you should let us kill the murderer." A good argument why we shouldn't have death penalty and a stupid argument why we should.

Are you kidding me? A holiday? If you think that it is so wonderful in prison why don't you take a little holiday vacation there, or hey, even better, why don't you live there? You will get free, gormet meals, air conditioning, which you know, isn't available anywhere else, leisure time in the prison because you don't have the freedom to go anywhere else, and you never have ot worry about getting lonely because you will be surrounded by thousands of people every second of the day. You can even get a little action while you are there if you are feeling a little lechorous. Yep, sounds like the life to me.
The United States is one of the top five countries that executes prisoners each year, along with Iran, China, Saudi Arabia, and Vietnam. Ironically, the United States also thinks that they are more civilized and have better morals than these countries, but we are equal to these countries on this topic, which is a big deal since it deals with human life.

As much as I enjoy revenge, I know that if one of my loved ones was murdered/raped, I would not seek retribution. If you want to seek retribution, look not to murder the murderer. There is no victory in revenge, there is no peace. However, if you can learn to forgive and move on, your life might still have some meaning yet.
