Two wrongs do not make a right. In my opinion the death penalty is racist. Minorities are sent to death way faster that whites. I was looking at someting one day. One white man shot and killed a man and his wife. Then a black man killed his wife. The white man had 90 years to life. But the black man was given the death penalty. The white man killed two people and the black man killed one. That isn't fair at all. They should have switched it around. So taht is what I have to say. |

The gov't pays millions of dollars to execute an individual, when simply sentencing them to life is economically a smarter choice. Any defendant who is sentenced to death is automatically given an appeal, another appeal, etc... etc.. etc.. why waste all the taxpayers money on execution when putting them away for life is so much cheaper? |
