Music ruled, royally

Everything else about the game started out superb and went downhill constantly (ending up just below average), but the music is probably the best of any game which has ever existed. I'll put the opening theme above anything from Secret of Mana without reservation.

I totally agree. To this day, the boss theme is still one of my favorites (dahhhhhhh......da-da-dah -da-da-da-da-daaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh, da da dum.....)
