I agree that politicians need to be somewhat decisive, HOWEVER they do NOT always make the best decisions for the country, and some politicians are more self serving in their decisions. This is why the public has an OPINION that the political structure is corrupt without enough checks and balances. You cannot blame the populace for every action of a political figure, their bad/unpopular ideas are not always laid out for review during campaigning. There are several examples in history which reflect poor leadership, corrupt government etc. This discussion panel is not making this up. DEMOCRACY is supposed to be a government OF the PEOPLE, BY the people and FOR the people. Therefore representative of the people's view, not a dictators'. |
