I signed her Dreambook and asked for some help with a skin problem. This started me to talking to a wonderful guy in Australia that has been my savior. My colostomy is 10 months old now and without his help I could never have gotten this far. I read everything I get from the Ostomy Mail and I visit Shazs'website almost daily to see what is going on in other ostomate's lives.And thanks! to Larry Trapp also and the Evansville Ostomy Chapter letting me be part of your website. I had emergency surgery, and no training from the nursing staff, nor did I have access to a nurse during recovery....so, you do what your common senses tell you and hope for the best. I thing that the support groups online are great and I have learned a lot by researching on my own, and by receiving news letters from this website.
