My Mom's sewing room was right next to their bedroom and on my way back past I would always hear the distinct sound of clean, crisp, shears slowly making one snip. I can hear it like it just happend... I would tear down the hall and stairs and make it back winded and would always tell him I was just trying to make it back before the commercial was over. To this day I have no idea what made that noise... it was probably just a weird creak the house made but, it always sent a chill up my spine. |
