| Posted By: cornnuts Posted On: Jan 22, 2010 Views: 1132 | one of the best This album by far is one of the best. What is life? Bull in the Pen, Elements, all Black Uhuru classics. If your into old reggae this album by far is a must. Along with Third World 96 degrees and ASWAD Live and Direct. I was born in 75, and love the old reggae. I can't stand modern reggae and the whole dancehall scene. Get back to your roots. |
| Posted By: werbock Posted On: Sep 15, 2007 Views: 1803 | cash cash This album has nothing to do with reggae but only with cash (US dollars de preference). Where are the songs ? where's the sound ? where's the magic ? All gone. |
| Posted By: Jah guetho man Posted On: Nov 20, 2004 Views: 2431 | Anthem Man, you shouldn`t tell such a thing, Anthem is one of the best all-time records, it doesn`t sound pop, can you imagine "try it" or "Botanical roots" pop-edge? Pop flavored is UB40 and third world, and above Black uhuru, only Bob Marley. |
| Posted By: Bill Murphy Posted On: Aug 17, 2004 Views: 1802 | That 80's Reggae Sound I just couldn't get into this one, and am glad I bought it used for $6.99 - maybe I can sell it back for $3? I've been trying to broaden my horizons in reggae an di dancehall. So far I've been expectingly pleased, however, I just can't get into that 80's reggae sound. I guess the light pop edge runs right over me since I was born in '75 and basically grew up in the 80s. That's the same reason I'm not willing to get any Inner Circle or Third World. |
