Kill Secret Bosses........

Yeah, unlocking all the secrets and stuff is nice, but the real reason I like to max out my characters is to fight all those secret hidden bosses (in those games that happen to have these kind of bosses, that is). I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I get to whip up on Omega Weapon, Ruby Weapon, Magi Master, and Ossma (or is it Ozzma? I can't remember right now). Even if it means spending countless long hours into the night training mindlessly to reach level 100, it's worth it to beat the strongest boss in the game.

yeah most of the time i try to but i never get round to it, the only 2 games ive done perfect it FFVII and FFIX, the most common reason is cause i miss out on something so i have to start again :(

would not be complete

The games would just not be complete unless I recieved every special item and secret in the game. That is the real prize, knowing that ther is nothing else I could possibly do in the game.

Only on my Favourite Games

Only on my all time favourite games and some other favourites do I Master the Game! Games like Lufia, Lufia II and Chrono Trigger and stuff! Games that take a while to master are the games I master!

Everything, definitely

Yes, all the time, I aim to get 100%. Games actually *feel* complete to me when I do that. I also like bonuses that you usually get in the end for getting 100%. :P

Getting everything.

Yeah, I must admit I'm one of those players who won't finish an RPG until I get EVERYTHING (but I don't care about having uber-powerful characters- I just want to find all the items, fulfill all subquests, etc.) And I usually get them, too. As long as it's a matter of just having patience, I usually get them; it's only those things that appear randomly (like minigame prizes) that elude me.

Sometimes

About the only times I'll ever take the effort to go through and max out everybody and get all the secrets is if I really like the game or I'm really really bored and don't have anything better to play.

Secrets, but not stats.

I don't max out stats, but I do find all secrets and pretty much learn everything about the game.
