I have to disagree that today's games are all crap. I'm a EA Sports games fanatic and they keep making them better & better. Give me Madden 2004 over "1st & Ten" any day. As a child video game junkie and a current PS2 Junkie, I like the fact that game systems started using more buttons, it made "Street Fighter" playable at home :) The difference between today's games and the games of yesterday is that today's games are more plot oriented instead of increasingly difficult levels. Of course considering there are thousands of games out there, I'm sure there are examples that can prove me wrong, so let me clarify...I'm speaking in general terms here. Blanka got Lit.....heh heh

Back then, we didn't need all the fancy graphics and 20 button controllers w/ analog sticks. Give me the good ol a and b and start and select, or heck, how about just the joystick and that big orange button for atari. Those were the days alright!LOL Really though, w/ the old games it was all about the game itself, they couldn't really rely on good graphics to get by. Now its all crappy games and really nice graphics. Ah, I miss the olden days :)
