This is my 2nd hockey season playing goalie and when i watched him play i tryed those technics and got better. Another way roy influencd me was that this year i am the only girl goalie because this year are other goalie ditched us |

Mr.Roy I really respect you and you are my my biggest idol. i want to become a goalie because i saw how you handeled situations like when a player was coming with a puck you just saved like it was a piece of cake. You inspired me and today the only reason i play the golie position is because of you. i was really sad when you retired but then again sooner or later legends have to retire. i might not become as good as you but i will try my best! colorado will have a hard time without you but there is no "i" in tream, so i know they will pull together! if possible please send a reply. thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Patrick Roy is the greatest goaltender of all time... and trust me, if his fans could get 30 seconds with the people who sayd he sucked, they would regreat it... and for the person who was talking about Marc-Andre Fleury, I know Fleury, yes he is amazing.. and will be the future of the NHL, but even he says, he cant compete with Patrick Roy, nobody can. You were the best goalie the NHL have ever seen, and you will always be. You are my idol, i have your jersey covered in a plastic bag up on my wall in the position so that you can see the whole back of it (Roy, 33) ..also i have taped the game where they raised your jersey to the top of the pepsi center, and they played that amazing video for you.. i watch it every single day, sometimes twice a day... It would be crazy if you went back to the NHL, and everyone would definitely support you.. if you dont, have a great life... you are still our #1 Goaltender of all time. |
