| Posted By: Berb Posted On: Jan 16, 2006 Views: 996 | Reply to Swede Henrick Lundqvist is a great ROOKIE goalie, so it's hard to say if he's going to be a great one...It takes time to prove yourself, as I'm sure you know. Presentely, nobody is saying that Lundqvist will be the next great one. The best goalies so far this year are Martin Brodeur, Luongo, Turco and Hasek (Hope I'm not forgettin someone). Roy is like Gretzky, he's in a league above everybody else. He has a lot of records. So it is hard to say that any goalie will be the next great one.... But we all admit that Lundqvist is a great goalie with a great future ahead of him. |

There are great goalies out there today but I wonder if you look in their eyes and ask how do you relate to Roy..and before a spoken word..you would see it as plain as day.... |

It was game 7 of the semi finals between the Wings and the Avs, it was all on the line, two star goalies up against each other in an all out brawl of atheletic skill and what happened .... ? Detroit won the game 7 - 0! that isn't even close that is a massacre! Roy was pulled from goal! PULLED! Personally I think Roy is an amazing goalie but to say that no other goalies compare is naive. |
