The prisoners will not be able to stay in prison for the crimes they've done, which my pose danger to the citizens that are on the streets and in their homes. We do not want this to happen, but it is happening, and this I do not like. But we are now dealing with the consequences of the short fall of the state's budget.

They are thieves and they are Greedy. I don't see one any better then the other.. Yes other country's may have it much worse but this is getting ridicules.. And WHY do we have a federal government??????????? What Constitution???? Helping others?? That's all fine. But couldn't we help our OWN first??? People need to STOP being afraid and fight for what we as the people of this country believe in.... Our government wont ever make it better.. Haven't they proved that over and over??? We need someone who really cares and can really do something for the people of this country!

What people didn't realize were that his hands were tied by mandates made years ago ny Republican Governors. Davis didn't deregulate the power industry, the Republicans did. Davis suffered a blacklash for it and we Californian made a mockery of ourselves by electing a man that doesn't have the political skills,education, and experience needed to run the "largest" state in the United States. I didn't vote for Arnold the first time. I will vote against him this time. Please vote no against the propositons in the special election. They are another attempt to take away the checks and balances needed for an honest government.

The poor and working poor are told we can't afford an increase in the minimum wage. Nurses are told they can be forced to work overtime-underpaid and understaffed. We are told we will have to cut back on programs for the elderly blind disabled and children of working poor parents. Mr. Davis may in the eyes of many been a bad governor but he at least signed bills to help the poor people of this state. He was also a strong backer of equal right for all californians regaredless of their sexual orientation. In short I feel we need a governor who shows he is really conerned for ALL the people and not just a select group of his friends. PEople wake up and smell the roses before the "termnator" does any more damage to our state. I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley-california and I have to say this governor has proven to be one of the worst in our history. Harold

He like Benedict, betrayed the people he claimed to be supporting. Promoting his self image and decrying the people who make California work in order to gain favor with the wealthy is reason enough to rid him but for proactical reasons if we can muster enough recall petitions while he is preparing his it would be wonderful to have his recall drain his ill gotton campaign warchest of milllions for the election. It would be like Russian rolluette, call a special election and face the recall! Manwhile join actions on May 25!

Gray Davis may have been a slimy politician with his hands and everybody else's pocket, but at least we knew he was a politician. Californians were so stars struck by the presence of "the terminator", they voted into office and uneducated conservative imbecile. There's nothing wrong with being conservative, I respect conservatives. But being an imbecile that is getting political advice from people who cannot capture the governorship themselves, like Richard Riordan or even getting political advice from liberal Teddy Kennedy, who also cannot achieve anything on his own merits is the problem. I see now unions that supported the governor have finally realized the stripes on the Tiger are real. The statistics are real. During the recall election, the largest demographic group foreseen to vote for Schwarzenegger, was Hispanic males between the ages of 18 to 25. Note that Hispanic males between the ages of 18 to 25 also constitute the highest demographic with the highest rate of high school dropouts and highest rate of the literacy in the state of California. What does that tell you about the demographic that voted for Schwarzenegger? I also notice that union members who traditionally vote for Democrats, encouraged having members of their particular union vote for Schwarzenegger. The see now that Schwarzenegger is antiunion. Citizens of California, educate yourself before voting. Look at the traditional ties of the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. Choose carefully who can truly help your interest before voting. Educate yourself enough not to be starstruck by a celebrity.
