In many forums we see learned Ethiopians discussing and trying to explain and reconstruct political developments in Ethiopia in the last fifty years or so. But most of them fail to recognize or "appreciate" the destructive role of ferenji communication(ferenji films,media, literature,education,...), amazing. Normally they should protest now when millions of Ethiopians regularly listen to voa,bbc,deutsche welle,etc,when ferenji financed anti-ethiopian sites targeting ethiopians are mushrooming,when ethiopian sites promote ferenji media by placing links or when articles written by ferenjis or which originate from ferenji sources are posted in ethiopian forums. Many have expressed concern about distability in post-meles ethiopia,rightly so. But why not take now preventive measures by declaring ferenji media threats to national security and calling to boycott ferenji communication ? We should also consider to ban hollywood films from african cinemas and tv channels. Ferenjis should not be allowed to control our mind by controlling communication ! |
