The original book was written in that context and of corse you are right in being on the wrong side of truth and justice together with the book. It is sad given your experience in modern life, education, etc, etc, you wallow in simplistic politics fashioned exactly as the medieval era politics. For you politics is considerably simplified to be haveing a dynasty in hold at the Minilik palace and you having an open end access to ambassadorial post and your dynastic familiy is elevated to the previliedged position of scavenging the power begotten resources that country can offer. So simple, and illiterate I am questioning the worth of you occupying a cyber space. Shame on you. The scope of your political discourse is asking for more of the same of the Meles led Ethno nationalist regime powered in Addis. for us it merans you want to raise the temperature of suffering our people double fold. Referance to Tecola as intelectual abroad is misleading, be a bit. He came to Addis in June 1991 with the Weyané and 'acted' as vice minster of Foriegn Affairs without official being designated. He was given the task of dismantling institution. Accorsingly he prepared a "study' that " proves"Ethiopia does not need Ethiopian Airlines, The purpose of the OAU and ECA in Addis is to morally corrupt Ethiopia and hence must be shut down.That Ethiopia does not need deplomatic relation with othercountries.... His "Research' was published and created such outcry specially in the deplomatic community Weyané backed down. Tocola left the country. Since then ,whatever he says sounds to me the provervial "After All the Grapes are Sour" He prided himself for having a younger brother who has the rank of a commander in the TPLF army. Tocla was born from Tigrian parents in Dessie, Wollo and grew up there and in Addis. |
