Southern Concern - to Keffawi

I have two stories for you about the "wrong people" in the "wrong" country....

1. A singer name Legesse keno whose father was from keffa known for his song "Bombu Fikrish" and for the song he wrote and gave to Tamirat Molla " Ye shola Fireneshi". These gentle man was rebuffed as "Ye baria Zer" in the army band. he become drunkard then went insane the rest of his life and now passed away. The blessing of being a southern "Ethiopian".

2. Girma Negash, another singer and sports news caster is known for his song " Yene hasab " and "enegenagalegn". This man noted apparently for his dark skin colour and southern looks was dubbed as the wrong man for Habesha singer. One day at National Theatre his colleagues were discussing his talent while he was overhearing them from a distance. One of the Ethiopians said Girma was a good singer had it not been for the fact that he is baria ( dark skinner). Girma went back and told them that even in Britian blacks are respected as singers and felt sad with their bias on his skin colour and soon left the profession.

For now it is proof enough why the majority of people in southern Ethiopia feel one thing in common: They are not at all ethiopians.
