Down With Ethiopia

Ethiopia, the hell country. The disappearance of Ethiopia is the liberation for the peoples under current "Ethiopia". This name Ethiopia is symbol of colonialism, mysery, slavedom, exploitation, and all other ugly adjectival words that could be said.

RE: Down With Ethiopia

I am astonished to read some one's comment saying "you can't understand what Ethiopia is". We have not only lived in it but also lived it. After living Ethiopia, how can't we understand it? Ethiopia is worlds true and living symbol of savegery and extreme backwardness. It is also an emblem of selfishness, war and famine. It is a place where humanity and human diginity are cruelly violeted. After solid world is well aware of this, how can we, who lived it, be ignorant of it? It is not only established on colonial occupation basis. But it is still a cannibal nation where the self-assigned governments conduct acts genocide in day lighton their subjects and orchestrate and promote ethnic clashes in mass for causes that may peacefully resolved. Ethiopia is where own governments have been conducting every possible evil. An awful land - Ethiopia. Down with Ethiopia !!!!!!

RE: Down With Ethiopia

Gifaw have said what I wanted to say. To add few words to the brilliant answer Gifaw gave,I want to start by quoting getaw.

"Your IQ doesn't allow you to know what Ethiopia is.." by getaw.

Mr. Getaw, do you know the stupid mind is the mind that cannot appreciate the reality he/she knows, sees, hears, feels, touches, senses, and even telepizes. The ugly colonial history of Ethiopian empire is not hidden from any one, but you. Every minute everybody sees or hears gun being shoot at Ethiopian Empire in Oromia, Ogadenia, Sidama, etc., but you do not. Every body sees Ethiopian Empire leaders killing and arresting Oromos, Ogadenian, Sidamas, etc who struggle for their right, and you do it.

A stupid mind is the mind that cannot see Ethiopia is a fake country; a country that its peoples do not say my country, but its leaders say to peoples "You are Ethiopians".

RE: Down With Ethiopia

It is very clear by now that there are people who in the past undertaken a destructive action, still wanting to continue the same path and with the same escale. The evidence clearly shows that the oppressor cannot just go away peacefully without applying a viable force, that can be total desctruction and eradication of its root. The Oromo question without excluding other oppressed Ethiopian ethnic groups having some kind of attention, be it from the global community or else. Now, it is up to the Oromo people and other oppressed Ethiopians to stand up, come together, create coalition force, put together all the resources (human and financial), and take the ultimate action to finish off the oppressive force. Eritreans cannot be excluded in this regard because the oppressive Amhara groups openly said that the morning they take power back from TPLF, they will start making war with Eritrea to take back Assab. Therefore, there is no point for Eritreans not to support OLF in this regard because OLF and other oppressed Ethiopians have no plan to invade or to make war with Eritrea. It is wise to stand firm and start helping OLF in order to avoid continuous war with oppressive Ethiopian rulers. For those of you who fool yourself by thinking that Amhara or Abysinnians will go away through contructive political dialogue, be careful and do what it takes to get over with situation.

RE: Down With Ethiopia

The ugly American This mentality accounts for the fact that two weeks before the presidential elections on November 2, Bush is running neck and neck with his Democratic opponent John Kerry in public opinion polls. It also explains why Bush can feel free to insult the intelligence of the American people by repeatedly boasting that the world is now a safer place with Saddam Hussein in prison and that freedom and democracy are on the march in Iraq. It is amazing, in fact, that even now Bush and his supporters seem pathologically unable to recognise the monumental blunder he committed in Iraq, that as Commander in Chief he sent US troops into harm's way by launching an incompetently planned pre-emptive war on that Middle East country for totally fraudulent reasons. Indeed, the popularity Bush still commands grows more bizarre with the ever mounting death toll of American soldiers occupying that hapless and devastated land. As part of Bush's vaunted war on terrorism, the misadventure in Iraq has provided instead a ready-made arena for terrorists to wage a deadly guerrilla war against American personnel and all those associated with them. More than 1,000 US soldiers have been slaughtered in this idiotic conflict, a death toll for which Bush should be held personally responsible, but instead of this his popularity is soaring! And who knows, the Commander might even win the coming elections! But outside observers now have a dramatic insight into the mindset that produces what Grahame Greene has called the ugly American. In Bush, the cowboy president, the world can see a classic example. And grow more cynical about the fervent commitment in that country to the great traditions, values and principles that make America unique and strong. The religious right, the born-again believers, the energetic moralists who are the most fanatic flagwavers in the US are staunchly behind their President, although the Christian scriptures that shape their faith and their beliefs declare emphatically: Blessed are the peacemakers. Not warmongers. Has the Iraqi nightmare brought home to them the wisdom of that scriptural injunction? Apparently not. In true patriotic fashion, Americans enthusiastically proclaim their support for their fighting men abroad. But what do US soldiers serving in Iraq think about their invasion and occupation of that country? Their views can be found in Michael Moore's book which is a collection of letters from soldiers writing to their families back home. The picture these letters create is one of widespread disenchantment and personal opposition to the war and the anguish of soldiers at being deceived by their Commander in Chief into fighting a misconceived and unnecessary war. Their pain is intensified by knowing that Bush himself evaded enlistment in the military by joining the National Guard. Last week their "enthusiasm" for the war was exemplified in the refusal of a reserve army unit, responsible for transporting food, water and fuel for US forces, to carry out their duties. The troops told their families they considered the mission too dangerous since their vehicles were in poor shape and they did not have adequate armed escort. One platoon member, Amber McClenny, appealed to her mother in a desperate telephone call: "This is a real, real big emergency. I need you to contact someone. I mean, raise pure hell." The Commander in Chief is responsible for the "pure hell" in Iraq. But Americans hail him as a heroic terrorist fighter. By now we should understand why. http://www.newsday.co.tt/

RE: Down With Ethiopia

I am so surprised to hear a non sense idea such as the one posted here by a man called Yilma. It also surprisiing not only that such awful thoughts are still expressed with freedom but also that the outdated source of such rubbish and shameful idea still exists in this 21st Century. But it is hardly surprising, on the other hand, that both the idea and the source are from Ethiopia, the number one uncivilized, barbarian and backward country of our universe. Mr. Yilma is in fact an Ethiopian. By the way whom does Yilma say go to hell? Who will go to hell and who will take the advantage? Still out dated people like Yilma think in that discriminatory way. But the overtly talk of Ethiopian unity??????? In effect, however, they don't have any agenda that addresses the oppressed nations of Ethiopia. The only place they have for the oppressed nations is being suppressed under their (Yilma and his groups') colony. That is all. If the oppressed nations have to require their own natural rights for freedom, they must go to hell in Yilma's own words. And still Yilma wants to maintain his Ethiopia on this basis. Let Ethiopia go to hell. Down with Ethiopia.
