That God started everything and that his hand lead the evolution of all the different birds that have ever existed and exist now, etc... I agree that it takes faith to say that God has always been and always will be. It isn't anything that can be proven. It isn't anything that can be disproven either. It always interests me when people say that religion was a way for societies to control their people and make them behave properly. And that is the main reason religions got started. I disagree. I belive in God, so it is hard for me to be objective. But looking at it as objectively as I can... I'd say that religions got started to provide "meaning" for all of us during our dreary everyday lives. |
