Posted By: Dragoonkain372 Posted On: Dec 12, 2003 Views: 2597 | FFX's map sucked Final Fantasy X's map was garbage. They should stick with the old ways of being able to go on the world map,and having random battles. It's boring when you just choose the place where you have to go without having some kind of challenge getting there. |
Posted By: kirjava mikero Posted On: Dec 12, 2003 Views: 2546 | comination would be better i dont like it myself, perhaps a combination of world map and sean shift would be better (as in SOM). on another note: i hate tidus with a passion, sorry, i just do. |

Posted By: Noah Body Posted On: Dec 9, 2003 Views: 870 | bleh Its alright, its the opposite of other FF's where you can go from Luca to Zanarkand on foot, and reach your airship at any place. Other FF games restrict how far you can go on foot, but allow the airship to take you anywhere. Other FF's also have their own little restrictions of not allowing you access of your airship when ever if you wander too far away, like FF6 you can go on that long winding trail in World of Balance. From the Veldt to the underwater trail, up to Narshe then take a boat back to a town, into the Ghost Forest with the train, down the waterfall, and back on the Veldt to get to your airship. |
Posted By: demigod Posted On: Dec 9, 2003 Views: 831 | Straight shot It's not too bad, but because you just go straight through the sidequests are at the very end. You can do some of them earlier, but there's not much point except for maybe blitzball which is locked for about half the game anyway. So you get to Zanarkand and the plot is just about over, but you could end up playing the game for just as long as you've been doing without anything really happening. |
Posted By: Zuni Posted On: Dec 9, 2003 Views: 811 | pole Never played FFX ... yet but seems like it would limit freedom a little. RPG's like FF are like reading a good book with the option to inteack and indeed direct the adventure. The loss of the world map doesn't do much but reduce the "travel" sections of the story that don't have plot elements included so this could be a good monve. |

Posted By: RPG Knight Posted On: Dec 9, 2003 Views: 789 | Well... Never played the game, but I've played RPG's with no world map. They're just as fun. Just makes it a bit harder to get around, and there's always a couple shortcuts. |
