Posted By: Mick Styers Posted On: Jul 5, 2004 Views: 2081 | Nostradamus When I was ten years old, I was intrigued by Nostradamus through the interpretation of his work by other people. Now, hell, even I can write something that could later be "translated"/interpreted into a future cataclysm of sorts. Where Apollo reflects back, Turbulence will ensue upon the 333 days after- the beast was eradicated from the ground. Once amiable, once terroring foe, once extinguished- Now a black slick upon the blue face of the world. Looks cool doesn't it. Maybe I put enough ambiguity in there for someone to say I predicted a disaster one day! Out. Mick |

Posted By: Lynn Posted On: May 21, 2005 Views: 1905 | RE: Nostradamus Seriously, It's all really a bunch of crap. The only thing anybody can really decode from his messages is some randome Crapohla that he probably thought of last minute, I mean... just because Apollo is supposed to be some totally tricked out water god, doesn't mean you can't expect it to rain or flood SOMEDAY. g-g-g-g-g-G-UNIT |

Funny... when it's Nostradamus doing this, it is nonsesne and stupid, yet things like this actually happen in the "real world" to be brushed off as everyday life. |

Nostradamus didn't they would happen cause it ahdn't happened yet But Apollo already happened so theres a difference in saying that and predicting somethign that happened in the past and saying anotehr thing that can be related to somethign in the future. But the fact is, if Apollo never happened could you translate that into Apollo? |

Posted By: elaine Posted On: Jun 1, 2007 Views: 1628 | RE: Nostradamus back in nostradamus' time alot of the words we use today for things hadn't even been invented then so his predictions are going to seem a bit vague to us in this day and age. |
Posted By: Keith Mayes Posted On: Jun 1, 2007 Views: 1625 | RE: Nostradamus Yeah, very vague. It can only be called a prediction if it is understood before the event, working it out afterwards is not much use, especially when it takes a lot of interpretation to make it fit. Ever wondered why it is no one has ever said in advance what he predicted? Bit of a clue there. If someone had said that Nostradamus predicted the Apollo dissaster before the event that might count for something, coming after counts for nothing. It isn't even right anyway, even got the crew count wrong. |
