Posted By: DM Posted On: Jan 1, 2005 Views: 940 | Has anyone ever kept their resolution? That's really all I have to ask. Honestly, how many people on this message board have resolved one year to lose 20 pounds, stop smoking or stop procrastinating and actually done it? |

Posted By: Aurora Posted On: Jan 1, 2005 Views: 934 | RE: Has anyone ever kept their resolution? Last year I resolved to give up all forms of chips, potato, corn, poker. I did it. This year I've added pop to the list. 11 hours down so far. |
Posted By: Syrgot Posted On: Jan 1, 2005 Views: 927 | RE: Has anyone ever kept their resolution? I usually don't set resolutions that I don't think I can keep. One year I resolved to go through and put a creation date on everything I've written, other year I resolved to submit to publishers... this year my resolution is to stop lending people money, I sure hope I keep that cause I've gotten screwed so many times recently... and not in the good kind of way. |
Posted By: Dragonmaster Posted On: Jan 1, 2005 Views: 920 | RE: Has anyone ever kept their resolution? I'm giving up all cafeine. So far, so good. I started Thursday. I'm folowing doctors orders and stuff. Had to go to the ER and all that crap. Not shure how long the no cafeine thing will last, working at starshmucks and all. My other one is to stop going into to much of my personal life. Thats why I didn't over explain the ER thing. Happy now? Or just a little sated? |
Posted By: observant Posted On: Jan 1, 2005 Views: 916 | RE: Has anyone ever kept their resolution? Good job, Aurora! I don't eat too many chips but I'm a diet coke-aholic. Maybe that's why I only sleep 4 hours a night! Good luck with all of your goals everyone. Mine is to find a new job and to only drink on Friday and Saturday nights. Now that my drinking buddy has moved to Maui, it should be pretty easy. |
Posted By: moogle832 Posted On: Jan 1, 2005 Views: 906 | RE: Has anyone ever kept their resolution? Mine was to stop eating so much unhealthy stuff, im down to 10 hotdogs a night. Kind of nice when it was at 30 at like 2 am. |
Posted By: Dragonmaster Posted On: Jan 1, 2005 Views: 904 | RE: Has anyone ever kept their resolution? I've never realy liked soda. The carbonation messes with my nose, which is understandably tender inside. Part of my OCD makes me think that if I drink to much that my already fat gut will expand to much. (may be why more people are getting ulsers) |

Posted By: Dragonmaster Posted On: Jan 2, 2005 Views: 884 | RE: Has anyone ever kept their resolution? I cant speak for everybody else, but I am. Temporaraly. I'm droping the pounds pretty slowly, but they are droping. I'm on the best diet. Just cut back. Just curb some of that crap that you put into your mouth and you will start to lose some of that bodyfat. |
Posted By: Syrgot Posted On: Jan 2, 2005 Views: 873 | RE: Has anyone ever kept their resolution? Not all of us Tom. Just because we have enough free time at work/school to be regulars on a message board doesnt mean we're fat... it means one of two things... we're so efficent and productive at work that we finish everything, and then have time to **** around online and get paid to do so.... or we're half assing it.... doesnt mean we're fat though! |
