Heavy Metal/Hard Rock Supergroup Battle

OK,

For North America:
Eddie Van Halen (lead, keys), Neil Peart (drums), Jordan Rudess (keys), James Hetfield (guitar/vocals), Steven Tyler (vocals, keys, harmonica), Tony Levin (bass)

For The Rest of The World:
Angus Young (lead), Ozzy (vocals), Jimmy Page (lead guitar), Rick Wakeman (keys)

We need bass and drums for the rest of the world Supergroup.
It has to be musicians that are still living.

North America vs Rest of the World

Rick Wakeman of Yes is an astounding Keyboard player, and he fits perfectly into the Rest of the World category.

Tony Levin can fit into North America bass players can't he?

Metal band vs band?

How about Jordan Rudess of Dream Theater on Keys for North America?

I volunteer John Entwistle for Rest o' world bass.

And do 2 members of Rush HAVE to be on?

Heavy Metal/Hard Rock UK vs US

Let's make this one North America vs The Rest of the World (we'll call it the Battle for World Domination) just so we can team up Eddie Van Halen with Neil Peart for North America.
So for North America:
Eddie Van Halen (lead), Neil Peart (drums), Geddy Lee (bass),

For The Rest of The World:
Angus Young (lead), Ozzy (vocals),

I'll have to think about this a little more ....

Metal band vs band?

How about starting another UK vs USA list for band, but for HARD ROCK and METAL genres? Anyone got any ideas or thoughts?

E.g:
- Singer
- Lead Guitarist (1 or 2),
- Rhythm Guitarist (1 or 0, depending on lead members)
- Bassist
- Drummer
- and maybe Keyboard player

Voting for additional musicians

If you looked at the 3 lineups that are currently on this website and don't see an artist that you think should be there - go to the links page at:
http://supergroup.netfirms.com/links.htm
There is a link there to:
RateItAll website:
http://www.rateitall.com/s-wl-73-musicians.aspx
where you can vote for musicians that you think should be on the USA or UK supergroup.
Check it out.

choice between Phil & Ringo

I think that Ringo would have been a better choice then Phil Collins. I think Ringo play much better don't get me wrong Phil is a good drum player.

US vs UK

Any side with Elton John on it the winner hands down! I'm not even British and I know that! I do, however, think that a better match-up would be Elton vs Billy Joel. Of course, Elton would win there too!

Having EVH makes this a no-brainer

Any group with Edward Van Halen as lead guitarist is my choice. Hell ,even with Paul Simon in there, USA is the winner.
