USA barely

I'm not too familiar with Paul Simon's playing or Bruce Springstien. But, Edward Van Halen and Flea. US WINS

The Edster on USA lead?

That position makes it easy...with Van Halen on USA lead, I easily vote for the UK!

UK Supergroup.

Pete Townshend makes the choice simple for me.

He is my favorite of ALL TIME and that's that.

best allaround

I must say again, DG is the only one you would need for the whole group.

I agree with Tom, Dave Grohl can do no wrong, he is the most underated musician of our time.

Supergroup

Why does it have to be a competition between USA & UK? Let's make THE best Supergroup of all time and mix them up!! We'd probably have to have BOTH lead guitarists!!!

usa outclassed

I'm American but the presence of Eddie alone isn't enough to overcome all the talent on the british side. Besides that, it is a sin to vote against god.

EC and co. v USA

ummmm... UK lineup does it for me. Although you could just add Elton, Stevie and Pete to the only real supergroup ever (Cream, of course) and the boys from the States would bow and walk away...

USA vs. UK

This was a really tough call. I've been a fan of so many of these guys; especially Eddie Van Halen. At first, I was tending to lean toward the UK team, as they're all from a somewhat similar genre; I think that these guys could just click and do incredible things, however then I stopped and thought that the US team has such a variety of musical styles and genres; I see a lot more potential for conflict there, but I really think that if team USA can unify and work as a team, the results could be mind blowing.

Edward Van Halen

You could place Edward Van Halen with the members of Spinal Tap, and I'd still pick them.
