People allege that the government has some little thingy that can be attached to your engine that allows you to get like 1000 miles a gallon... apparently some dude bought a car that "mistakenly" did not have the thingy removed and some men in black came and bum rushed his Ford Escort to get it back. |

While on the topic of cars heres something that is actually true. Car companies have started putting a black box of sorts into the workings of new cars. Police and insurance companies will recover it after a crash to find out information. The modules, or EDRs, record about five seconds of information leading up to a crash, including engine and vehicle speeds, change in velocity - known as delta v - seatbelt use and whether the driver applied the brakes. So before you lie to the police about how fast you were going when you slammed into that mail box, make sure your car isnt equipped with one of these little beauties. |
