Are you people nuts?

Lemme get this straight, according to the current results, its ok if the date picks you up in a disgusting car, picks food off your plate with gross fingernails, and has a BOOGER present, but talking about their last relationship is the deal breaker? Yikes, what kind of dates are you people going on??

RE: Are you people nuts?

People usually choose the junniest choice, not the truest. That's what I do, anyway.

Yea, I'm very disappointed with this poll. Totally unfunny.

RE: Are you people nuts?

The poll asks what's the BIGGEST turnoff. Not just what's a turnoff. Noone said everything else is fine. They maybe just feel particularly turned off by an obsession with past relationships. It wasn't my vote, but I understand the question as BIGGEST, not what ONE & only thing. To pick all of the above is actually a copout. It's obvious all those things are turnoffs, except the expects sex part if you're a guy :) And she looks good.

I think this is one of the better polls of late. Its the kind of poll that gets people to talk - maybe even share some stories of funny or horrific dates. Good one todd!

Yeah, I agree with Nik... it's not like you wouldn't run screaming from SEVERAL of those choices.... I would forgive some before others, but that doesn't mean I find nosepicking sexy, or anything.

RE: Are you people nuts?

In reply to the first poster--No I am not nuts. And I've had a number of less-than-stellar dates...but seeing as one can only make one choice rather than prioritize, I chose "talks about previous relationship". It's not the ONLY dealbreaker, but I think it's a strong indicator of how open the person is to a new friendship. And it's the one thing I seem to run into the most. [Personally never had the booger thing....don't know how I'd react.]

RE: Are you people nuts?

I agree with Mike: this poll is totally un-funny. So far, the funniest and best poll for me has been what to do inside when it snows. That one's a classic, and goes into my book of todd history. The conspiracy poll's up there too, but not as much.

RE: Are you people nuts?

That is true...it's not that funny. But maybe Todd's intention was for it to be a bit more serious....[could have been the last movie that changed his mood...we don't know.]

How about a survey of what kind of survey's his viewers would like to take?

RE: Are you people nuts?

Are you people nuts? People are just saying what is the worst of the list of evils. I wouldn't want my date to pick his nose or talk about his mom or an ex, but I am a waitress, and the biggest turn off to me is being rude to the person serving you.

RE: Are you people nuts?

I think that its a big turnoff for me if they talk about that. I mean it shows that there is still some kind of attatchment there and they are more than likely not ready to recover, wich means the dinner i bought and all that good stuff was a waste. I dont like sticking around just to be a rebound, Too unstable

RE: RE: Are you people nuts?

I remember reading somewhere that men HATE to hear about the past relationship(s) of ANY woman they are seeing. Ladies, ever notice that men don't talk about their ex-girlfriends as much (if at ALL), as women sometimes crank out their sad ex-boyfriend stories?

Don't do it. They hate that. Even if they don't admit it.
