Posted By: Unknown Posted On: Jan 18, 2005 Views: 2432 | Memory Card Failure I experienced Memory Card Failure once before, right before fighting Ultimecia in FFVIII. It's stupid having to start over from the beginning |
Posted By: Teefa85 Posted On: Mar 13, 2004 Views: 2669 | Crash!! Our old massive memory card for the PSX used to erase all the important data all the time. Such as my SaGa Frontier file, and my little sister's almost finished Tales of Destiny File. After getting annoyed, we switched to everyone having their own small card. |
Posted By: Sylvan Elf Posted On: Mar 11, 2004 Views: 2698 | Grr... I've had cartridges and memory cards mess up on me three or four times in my life. The first time I tried to play FFIV and the first time I tried to play Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past come to mind. Also I had a problem playing FFX once. They're frustrating as hell, but at least they aren't too common. |
Posted By: phoenixval16 Posted On: Mar 11, 2004 Views: 1032 | memory card thing... I once lost xenogears data when I was almost finshing the game and it was my only file!!!! Ilike xenogears and all, but imagine playing through all that dialogue again!!!! Never bought third party cards again. p.s. I also lost 3 chrono cross files in that mess. |

Posted By: RPG Knight Posted On: Mar 9, 2004 Views: 916 | Perfect Solution. Find a 1st party memory card, I usually use 1st parties and I never lose data. |
Posted By: Lunatic Panzer Posted On: Mar 8, 2004 Views: 957 | technically once It only happened once, but I had one of those mega memory cards for Playstation, the ones with 320 (I think) blocks of memory. I had about a third of it filled up and then lost all my data. |
Posted By: Kor Posted On: Mar 8, 2004 Views: 944 | Several :P My PSX memory cards used to **** up, so I had to restart FFVII like, five times... until I grew bored of it :P |
Posted By: Crowmagnum Posted On: Mar 8, 2004 Views: 938 | Roms are friends for any NES or SNES game i always use a rom and emulator because it will never loose the save game because it is store on your harddrive but for PS games i havent found a good emulator so i really haven't played any on my computer |
Posted By: ZenithYoda Posted On: Mar 8, 2004 Views: 907 | FFX I play on my TV downstairs since it is bigger than the one I had upstairs. I have to carry the wires to behind the couch since that is the closest outlet. I was 120 hours into FFX when my bro goes to shut the blinds I go to save. He trips over the wire while it is saving. I lost that save game, although it only took me 60 hours to get to the same place I was before (level, storyline and the such). |
Posted By: Wilfredo Martinez Posted On: Mar 8, 2004 Views: 902 | old memory cards I recently checked one of my old Playstation memory cards and it no longer worked, meaning I lost the game saves (mostly from old games) in it. -_- I also used to save games in my PS2 Gameshark, which no longer works, either (I think a power failure damaged it.)Oh well, at least my mania of finding everything in the first play-thru means I didn't have to replay those games. |
Posted By: DomaDragoon Posted On: Mar 7, 2004 Views: 890 | First Party Memory Cards are your friends. I've never had a card go haywire on me. Now battery backup, that's another story. Stupid FF 1 deleting my save at the last dungeon twice. |
